XII Federation of International Polo World Polo Championship, Wellington

When: October 29 – November 6 Finally! The United States will host the FIP Polo Championship tournament on American soil for the second time after a 24-year hiatus. Washi Transformed: New Expressions in Japanese Paper, Delray Beach

When: from November 5  The Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens is unveiling an exciting, new art exhibit, Washi Transformed: New Expressions in Japanese Paper. Washi Transformed presents over 30 highly textured two-dimensional works, expressive sculptures, and dramatic installations that explore the astonishing potential of this traditional medium. In this exhibition, nine Japanese artists embrace the seemingly infinite possibilities of washi (Japanese paper), underscoring the unique stature this ancient art form has earned in the realm of international contemporary art.

Sunset Tequila Festival, Boca Raton

When: November 5 Celebrate all things agave. On Saturday, November 5th, agave lovers will descend upon Mizner Park Amphitheater for the inaugural Sunset Tequila & Mezcal Festival. Guests will enjoy unlimited tastings of some of the world’s best tequila and mezcal spirits including Codigo 1530, Cazadores, Herradura, Tanteo Jalapeno, Espolon, Ghost Tequila, The Rock’s Teremana, Eva Longoria’s Casa Del Sol, El Tequileno, Jarritos and more. Festivalgoers can explore the Sunset “Mercado” featuring an array of cultural artisans and makers, and dance to feel-good live music from Artikal Sound System, The Resolvers, Xperimento and Spred The Dub while sampling a variety of blancos, reposados, añejos and mezcals, as well as seltzers, cervesas and Tito’s Vodka. Restaurant pop-ups from The Wolf of Tacos, Drinking Pig BBQ, Ghost Kitchen Collective, Yakitori Boyz, Lazy Oyster, and more will be onsite with food for purchase. Hunt Slonem: Meet the Artist Reception, Jupiter

When: November 17  Lighthouse ArtCenter presents The World According to Hunt Slonem through December 10 with over two dozen small and large-scale original works by the widely-collected neo-expressionist artist Hunt Slonem.  A Meet the Artist Reception takes place on Thursday, November 17, 5 – 7 pm, where guests can meet and mingle with the artist best known for his “maximalist” paintings of wildlife exotica – most famously birds, rabbits, and butterflies. West Palm Beach Art Festival, West Palm Beach 

When: November 19-20 For an entire weekend, The Square will feature artists’ tents filled with all mediums of fine art at this free, outdoor event. Residents and visitors are invited to stroll amidst life-size sculptures, spectacular paintings, one-of-a-kind jewels, photography, ceramics, and more from local and national artists. The Downtown West Palm Beach Art Festival is free and family friendly.  Time: 10 am – 5 pm

Sunday on The Waterfront, West Palm Beach

When: November 20 Sunday on the Waterfront is the coolest scene in downtown West Palm Beach. This FREE family-friendly concert series is held year-round on the third Sunday of each month and features a variety of national and regional recording artists. On Sunday, November 20, the event will feature Big City Dogs, a South Florida-based classic rock and blues band that pays tribute to great bands of the ‘60s thru the 2000s.  Time: 4 – 7 pm

Historic Walking Tour of Worth Avenue, Palm Beach

When: Starting from November 23 Every Wednesday starting November 23, the Worth Avenue Association conducts a 75- minute historical walking tour led by docent Mr. Rick Rose. This informative tour explores the origins and character of Worth Avenue, its unique architecture, the historical significance of many of its legendary landmarks and some of its famous residents. The tour begins at 10:30 am in Via Amore at 256 Worth Avenue across from Tiffany & Co. and Chanel.   Cost: $25.
