Bama Lutes Deal, PhD, a musicologist, former performing artist, and experienced arts administrator, has managed the unique Cultural Concierge program of the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County since 2015. As an arts & culture “matchmaker” for The Palm Beaches’ Destination Services team, she assists planners in finding the right local talent, venues, and cultural options for exceptional events. Deal routinely suggests performers, artists, venues, events, and cultural programming of interest to specific conveners. She can even recommend concepts for innovative arts experiences that leverage her access to the best available local talent. This arts & culture point person also helps planners achieve great results by making sure that all parties are made aware of scheduling, logistics, invoicing, and insurance requirements ahead of time so those experiences are delivered safely, on time, as planned, and within budget!

The Cultural Concierge program helps planners find memorable venues, book the right entertainers, and gain access to local resources, bringing added value to meetings and Between-The-Sessions activities. Here’s how it works:
